Dusy Trip, July 4th-6th

It actually feels a little strange writing this since our secretary extraordinaire usually handles our story writing. This past weekend on our way home from the Dusy-Ershim trail our club narrowly avoided a tragedy. Alan Ratzburg and Judy Anderson were involved in an accident on the 2 lane Dinky Creek Road just above Shaver Lake. They both were released from the hospital later that evening with minor injuries. I just wanted to send out a big thank you to everyone. Ray and Bret you both acted very admirably and should be commended for the way you handled everything during and afterwards. Kevin, thanks again for dropping everything to make the 6-hour drive to help us out. It is a great feeling to know that we have such great friends. Best wishes to Alan and Judy for a speedy recovery. We hope to see you on the trail again soon.
